The Side Room presents an evening of Beaujolais tasting.
The clock is ticking and the countdown has begun to the arrival of Beaujolais Nouveau 2015 and our first Side Room experience.
Beaujolais Nouveau day is marked in France, on the third Thursday in November with fireworks, music and festivals – following the release of the wine (only a few weeks after the wine’s grapes have been harvested) – at one minute past midnight.
Imagine then the fun to be had when it became a race to carry the first bottles of the new vintage to Paris; and now the race is on for us to collect those bottles, on arrival in the UK, and rush them to Dalston for our Beaujolais Nouveau tasting.
Lauren and I have made it one of our traditions to attend a Beaujolais nouveau breakfast – pre starting work – but we’ve decided to spare you the worry of getting through your day having quaffed a very large glass of this beautiful purple-pink wine by throwing our celebration party in the evening.
Join us at The Side Room and be one of the first to taste it!
